A free way to say no to door-to-door sales

If it feels like someone's at your door every other day, you probably aren’t imagining it. Door-to-door sales have ramped up hard this year, especially from other Internet providers. If you're already a Ting customer, that's not a pitch you asked for, and we don't think you should have to keep fielding it just to keep the Internet service you already picked.

Why this is happening

Door-to-door sales aren't going away. It works, which is exactly why Big Internet is leaning into it right now, particularly in markets where they're trying to win customers away from smaller providers. For a lot of people, that means more knocks, more pitches, and more pressure than they've dealt with before, often from multiple companies in the same week. It's reasonable to be tired of it. It's also reasonable to want a way to opt out without having the same conversation on repeat.

What you can do about it

We're giving away free, weatherproof No Soliciting signs to Ting customers, no catch. Put one up and any legitimate salesperson, from any company, is expected to respect it and move on. It won't affect your account or service in any way. It's just a way to take the decision back for your own front porch.

Get a free sign and get your porch back

You picked Ting once already. You shouldn't have to keep defending that choice on your own doorstep. Get your free sign, put it up, and let your porch go back to being just a porch.
