Supporting San Diego's youth: Ting teams up with Bro-Am
It’s all about surfing, music and supporting the community with Ting Internet at the Switchfoot Bro-Am Beach Fest on June 15, 2024.
At Ting Internet, we're built on the idea of being more than just an internet service provider. We believe that being a part of a community means being involved in its success. That’s why we're thrilled to partner with Bro-Am for the past three years.
The Switchfoot Bro-Am Beach Fest perfectly embodies the spirit of community. It's a fun-filled day at the beach, but more importantly, it's about giving back to the kids who need it most. This event brings together people from all over for a day of surfing competitions, live music featuring Switchfoot and fun activities—all for a great cause.
This year, we're especially excited to bring our commitment to Encinitas full circle. We recently expanded our fiber internet service to Moonlight Beach, the heart of the Bro-Am festivities. This allows us to offer something truly special for the first time in the Bro-Am's 20-year history: a seamless internet experience for everyone attending!
More than just a festival
The Bro-Am isn't just about fun in the sun—it's about making a difference. The event funds five local non-profit organizations supporting at-risk and disadvantaged children in San Diego. These organizations provide essential services like after-school programs, music education, food banks and educational resources for homeless youth.
Our fiber-optic infrastructure will enhance the Bro-Am experience by helping festival goers connect and share the positive impact. Attendees will also have the convenient option to make donations through QR codes throughout the event, empowering them to contribute and create a difference.
