Ting delivers 100% direct fiber Internet to homes and businesses on and near our fiber network.
For homes, we offer one simple plan with 1 Gig (1000 Mbps) or 2 Gig (2000 Mbps) symmetrical speeds. This means you can upload a video to the cloud while your friend downloads a movie at the exact same speed.
In the greater Tucson area, we offer Simply Bits fixed wireless for homes and businesses with flexible, straightforward connectivity and local support.
Fiber Internet uses thin strands of glass to transmit data as light. That means very fast speeds and a more reliable connection.
It’s built for how people actually use the Internet today, whether it’s streaming, uploading, video calls, gaming, or running a business.
The main difference is speed and reliability.
Fiber typically delivers:
While all Internet traffic travels over fiber at some point, what matters is what connects directly to your home. Some providers sell “fiber-powered” service. Ting brings 100% direct fiber to your address.

If we’re not there yet, you can sign up for updates. We’ll email you when service becomes available at your home.
If your home isn’t connected yet, installation takes at least 7–14 days, depending on how long it takes your state's 811 organization to locate existing utilities on your property.
There are two parts:
If your home is already connected to Ting’s network, installation is typically much faster since the outside work has already been done.
If you have a specific move-in date, you can schedule your installation up to 21 days in advance.
We make it simple.
You can order and schedule installation online in minutes. You won’t be charged until your service is connected.
Most people keep their current provider active until Ting is installed. Waiting to cancel your other service makes sure you have no downtime.
On installation day, just make sure someone 18 or older is home. We’ll handle the rest.
Pro tip: Many customers keep the same Wi-Fi name and password so their devices reconnect automatically.
Yes.
You’re welcome to use your own router as long as it supports 1 or 2 Gig speeds. No complicated bridge mode. No restrictions.
If you’d rather not think about Wi-Fi setup or troubleshooting, you can add eero mesh routers to your plan and we’ll take care of it.
If you’re switching from cable, you can usually return your old modem. We’ll connect your router directly to the Ting fiber equipment in your home.
