Give us a short history of your business.
Pend Oreille Surgery Center (POSC) opened in 2009 and is the only stand-alone Ambulatory Surgery Center in Bonner County.
What makes our community a great place to start a business?
It provides good support for local businesses.
How did you hear about Ting?
I first heard about Ting when they first announced they were coming to Sandpoint to build out a gigabit fiber optic network.
Why is it important for your business to have fast, reliable internet service
POSC cannot conduct business without fast, reliable internet. We had 6 Mbps DSL service before we moved over to Ting. The speed and efficiency of our network and employees has greatly improved with fast(er) internet.
What was your internet experience like before Ting?
While our DSL service was better than dial-up, as more services (software as a service, VoIP phones) move to the cloud, we needed faster internet just to keep up!
How has your experience been since switching to Ting?
Ting has been very reliable. The installation team was knowledgeable and professional, and the transition went smoothly. We are very happy with Ting gigabit fiber and are paying much less than what DSL used to cost us!

What would you say to a business hesitating to switch to Ting?
If you are currently on another ISP, it is likely you are paying more money for less bandwidth.
Has Ting been a good community partner and how?
Yes! Ting has been a wonderful sponsor and supporter of several nonprofits and initiatives in the community! They have led the way in fundraisers such as the Panida Century Fund and the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce and are very much appreciated in Sandpoint!
How can Ting be a better business and/or community partner?
Ting has already supported so many businesses and partners in this community!
